Marc Jacobs Lip Lacquers

Last February, I received a box complimentary from Influnster for two gel matte highliners (I will blog about it later). Influenster usually does a Twitter party for every box sent to its followers. I participated in that Twitter party and won another box of Marc Jacobs Beauty goodies for being an active participant.

On March 28, I received a box of two lip lacquers and two tubes of mascara. These are the lip lacquers I received: one was in the shade Forbidden Fruit (left), and the other was Taboo (right).

Forbidden Fruit has a sheer orange shade that when applied, it actually emphasizes the pink tone of my lips. I love how natural it looks! It's like a lip gloss with a thin formula that doesn't make your lips feel too thick and sticky. It also has a slight mint scent that is totally not overwhelming, and a cool sensation that's not tingling.

Taboo has the same qualities except that it gives a fine brush of sparkle. It's very sheer and not metallic. It's beautiful under the sun.

Overall, I love these lip lacquers and I already used them a lot on top of lipstick. I just can't get enough of them. I'd probably purchase more shades.
